Short answer: eXp Realty doesn't make you learn a new AI app. Its MCP First, AI of Choice program, announced Oct 8, 2026, lets you connect ChatGPT, Claude or whatever AI you already use to your own eXp data, including the Hub, My eXp, eXp University, Canva and some CRMs. You approve the connection, then ask questions about your production, leads, deals and training right in the chat window you already use.
MCP stands for Model Context Protocol. In plain terms, it's a standard plug that lets an AI assistant safely read information from other tools once you give it permission. eXp announced the program at eXpcon in Salt Lake City on Oct 8, 2026. Instead of building its own chatbot, eXp is connecting its systems to the AI tools agents already trust (eXp press release).
eXp also calls this the first visible piece of a bigger rebuild of how agents close deals and get paid, which it calls AGNT OS and is targeting for early 2027.

eXp's chief operating officer told HousingWire the company built a library of prompts for agents. Her examples: show my production over the last 12 months, how far am I from capping, and who in my CRM has a birthday I should reach out to (HousingWire). A few more ways to put it to work:

It's one factor, not the whole decision. AI connections help most when your sponsor and team actually show you how to use them. Weigh them alongside fees, cap, support and culture. Our pages on eXp fees and cap and eXp pros and cons cover the rest, and questions to ask a brokerage helps you compare.

No. eXp chose not to build its own chatbot. Its MCP First, AI of Choice program connects the AI assistant you already use, such as ChatGPT or Claude, to your eXp business data after you approve the connection.
At launch eXp listed the Hub, My eXp (production and pay data), eXp University, eXp Divisions and Canva, plus the Lofty, BoldTrail and Cloze CRMs. Follow Up Boss and Sisu were listed as coming soon.
eXp says its own app connections and Canva are available worldwide at launch. CRM connections depend on your country and each CRM's own policies.
No. eXp says there is no new login, no new app and nothing to download. You approve the connection, then ask questions in the same chat window you already use.
You decide what to connect. Check what each connection can see and how your AI tool stores data before you link a CRM, and never paste private client details into a tool you haven't approved.
